Ava is in her sophomore year at Groves. She’s 16 years old and this is her first year in journalism. She developed an interest in journalism because of her passion for writing. She plays soccer and spends most of her time working. She has two jobs and works four days a week. She enjoys music and spending time with her family. She has taken a photography class and hopes to benefit the newspaper with that skill.
